A growing education marketplace and new educational paradigms are benefiting women and society in general. An ever-more-diverse education marketplace, with flexible options to fit busy schedules, has been a boon to women as students, as educators, and as parents. Yet more remains to be done to fulfill the promise of a free market in education. The expansion of choice, and not government, is the solution to America’s education ills. Vouchers, tax-credit scholarships, Education Savings Accounts, and other programs that allow for dollars to follow students – rather than the other way around – ought to be expanded throughout the country, so that they can continue to provide parents more options and to create the most innovative education system possible.
